Busy like bees.

Mum has been very busy. She's been writing A LOT.

In the meantime, we will try to have more posts up now and then. We are still reading everyone's blogs, but mum hasn't been able to help us comment lately.

Mum has been super busy lately (and travelling) so we haven't really had much chance to post. But we wanted to ask if anyone has a kitty who is hyperthyroid. Zowie has just been diagnosed, so mum is doing her research and stuff.

Wow! Jungle panthers vs. house panthers!

It's my GOTCHA day!

Mum says she didn't forget, but she did forget to do up a post for us to celebrate! So here we are now. And this means that I have been Gotcha'd for 4 whole years!

Been busy!

Well, we have sure been busy here. Mum is doing a lot of work (she works full-time, plus freelance as a fiction editor), and we had our annual checkup with our v-e-t.

Of course you know what that means... poking, and prodding, and checking. Unfortunately me and Zowie had bad toofs, so we had to go get our toofs cleaned. And I am a slightly less mancatly mancat now, because my special last upper canine toof had to be pulled. Mum is a bit sad about it too, but it needed to come out, because the v-e-t said it would be abscessed and icky very soon.

And Zowie had 4 toofs pulled. Ouchie. The v-e-t says it's because she's getting older, and neither her nor Pandora have ever had very good toofs. However, mum is just glad that we both did well, though she wishes it didn't cost so many green papers.

Pandora still thinks we smell funny though. Darn v-e-t office smells!

Sunday Snuggles

Today mum and I had some really nice Sunday snuggles.

Happy (belated) New Year!

Mum's behind in helping me blog, but that's okay. She's been pretty busy. But she was home over the holidays so we got in LOTS of snuggle time. She says I am now snugglier than I have ever been before. I suppose that's true, but it's because I didn't realize exactly how nice it was to snuggle right up next to her when she's writing. It's the best!

I heard someone say something about December 21, 2012 being the end of the world.

I'd like to inform you that it's not true. How do I know?

It's my BIRTHDAY.

So obviously, not the end of the world.

Sheesh. Silly humans. (Thankfully mum is not one of those silly ones. She has my birthday to prepare for!)

We are Sad.

Our pal on the blogosphere, the most awesome Huffle Mawson, has gone to the Bridge. We're going to miss her an awful lot.

Happy Birthday Pandora & Zowie!

Pandora and Zowie are FOURTEEN years old today! Mum says you would never know it -- they run around like a herd of elephants (oh, that's mostly Zowie and I that do that... oops), and look just like kittens (or so visitors say).

We'd love to have everyone come over for a PARTY! We need to celebrate 14 in style!

Getting close to Halloween!

We are excited for Halloween! Well, I am. Mum says I am a perfect decoration for Halloween, and of course I agree with her. Who wants one of those silly toy kitties when you can have a REAL house panther?

Of course over here in Canada people are superstitious about black cats. We think that is very silly indeed. This is why we think black cats are awesome:

1. We match everything.
2. We look elegant in black.
3. We are very friendly.
4. We are laid back.
5. We can hide in the shadows.
6. We are house panthers.
7. Our furs don't show up on your black pants.
