Pictures of Us

Mum had some fun with that cat cartoon maker thingy, and she made pictures of us. She says they're not quite as good as she'd like, but they do capture our 'looks'... She took these screen captures of our cartoons:

Pandora has her mouth open because mum says that she is always talking. (and we agree, she is almost ALWAYS talking!)

I am a little bigger and I am glad to see that mum got my biscuit head in. The only really inaccurate bit is that I am showing two teef in this picture and I only have one upper canine toof left. But that's how I'd be if I had it back!

And she says Zowie was the hardest one to get. I suppose it's tough with the mix of furs she has.

This morning I was minding my own business, hanging out on the rug, and I saw Pandora nearby. As I'm a nice mancat, and I'm still trying to make friends with her, I reached out to say hi....


And I got smacked for my trouble. But sometimes we can co-exist next to each other, as you can see below...
Maybe one day we will be best friends.

Mum found eight of our toys! They had gotten under the stove. Now she knows where to look when Pandora can't find her special brown mousie. Remember this post? She LOVES her brown mousie a lot!

Happy Birthday, Pandora & Zowie!

Pandora and Zowie are 13 years old today!
Mom adopted them when they were kittens and they were just barely six weeks old. You might have seen this photo of them before:


Well, that was taken only a few days after mom adopted them. They were sure tiny! (and they still are pretty small, as Pandora is only barely 7lbs!)

So, to celebrate this big occasion, we are having a party, with...

Lots of food!


And catnip!


And mom promises treats and toys and fun! :)
We also have an excellent Cat TV, with lots of squirrels and magpies to check out...

And if you're needing a snooze after all those nip-tinis, we have several excellent snoozing spots!

Pandora will deny it, but here is proof that we can actually sit next to each other without her giving me the smacky paw.

Pandora loves on mum.

Some days when mum gets home, Pandora needs to give her some lovin'! This includes kisses, and cheek rubs on the side of mum's glasses.

Pandora is small.

Just to show how tiny my sister Pandora is (she weighed 6.5lbs at her checkup), mum got this photo of her sitting on top of a pile of papers, two small moleskine notebooks, and mum's Kindle 3 (which is inside that beige cover right under Pandora.)

Yes, that's right - Pandora can fit onto a Kindle! :)

Caturday: Pandora

Pandora likes to be very lovey with mum, even if she can't climb right up on mum's shoulders. She likes to give kisses and hugs, and if mum is at home, she wants to be right next to (or on top of, or on the lap of) mum all the time.

P.S. Our V-E-T says that Pandora is the snuggliest cat she's ever met. When she was last here, Pandora even crawled onto her shoulders for a cuddle!

Sister Sunday

Pandora and I don't often co-exist in close quarters without having a spat, but this photo mum took the other week proves that every once in awhile, we can share. I think we were likely watching an introoder in our garden.


And here, Zowie watches us to see if we'll start thwapping each other.

By the way, Zowie won the chair fight that we posted about on our last entry. Mum says I was too gentlemancatly and moved spots so Zowie could have the chair all to herself. (I odn't mind though, I went and sprawled on the sofa, where there was a lot more room!)

That Snow!

When it was really cold out the last couple of weeks (it's now gotten warmer again, thank goodness!) us cats had a hard time seeing out of the windows because they had ice at the bottoms! This is a video of Pandora trying to get through the ice.

I think mum is getting prepared for my birthday on Monday! I saw some cans come into the house! Maybe it will be a special food!
