It's my Birthday!

Please come join us for a BIG party at the house! Mum's even taken the day off work to make sure that I get extra treats and stinky goodness! 7 is a big year!

Happy Birthday, Pandora & Zowie!

Pandora and Zowie are 13 years old today!
Mom adopted them when they were kittens and they were just barely six weeks old. You might have seen this photo of them before:


Well, that was taken only a few days after mom adopted them. They were sure tiny! (and they still are pretty small, as Pandora is only barely 7lbs!)

So, to celebrate this big occasion, we are having a party, with...

Lots of food!


And catnip!


And mom promises treats and toys and fun! :)
We also have an excellent Cat TV, with lots of squirrels and magpies to check out...

And if you're needing a snooze after all those nip-tinis, we have several excellent snoozing spots!

Mum says she hasn't forgotten, but she's just been a bit busy.

Today is my 6th birthday! :)

I'd like to invite everycat and everydog in the blogosphere over for some treats, tuna and playtime! Mum went out and bought 4 cans of tuna especially for today. I LOVE tuna. (I also love chicken livers, but mum said that the butcher shop didn't have any... darn.)

We celebrated my birthday with toona and toys! It was the best! I'm now five years old!!

Mum and I talked about when my birthday will be, and thank you to everyone who had such great suggestions!

Because Christmas is such a busy time for beans (and for cats - there's lots of stuff to sniff, foods to eat, and games to play with the ribbon on the bean gifts), we are going to make my birthday before Christmas.

The v-e-t I saw at the shelter said I was born in December 2004. But I don't have an actual birthday!

Today my sisters turned 11 years old!!
They were born on November 6, 1998, to their mum, called Kittypuss, in a shed on my mum's aunt and uncle's acreage. My mum adopted them on December 18th, 1998. They had 2 other siblings, a girlcat that looked a lot like Zowie (except more grey) and a boycat that was all floofy white except for brown tips on his tail and feets.

Here is one of mum's favourite photos of them as kittens. She has more, but they are old photos (on papers, not on the computer).


Mum says that Pandora and Zowie were very snuggly even as kittens. Their favourite place to sit was on mum's shoulders. They still try to sit there, but it is harder because they are a little bit bigger now!
