Sleepy Thursday and more Honeysuckle

Mum is going to be away from her computer for a few days, so she wanted to make sure we posted before then. We hope everyone has a good weekend!

These are some photos that mum took in the last couple of days. You can see how I like to use my honeysuckle for a pillow, and my sleeping on the cushion. Pandora and Zowie especially like to curl up together on the top of the scratching post in the afternoon sun.

...but we'll post today instead!


This photo is a bit dark, but it shows how I often sit with my block of honeysuckle. I use it as a rest for my elbows (do cats have elbows?) and also sometimes as a pillow for my head if I am lying on the floor. Honeysuckle has many uses!

Outside Adventure!

Mum took us outside yesterday, as it was cooler earlier on and just right for us kitties. We had a fun time, but I was scared of the little boy from upstairs as he was loud and he wanted very much to pet us. Pandora and Zowie let him pet them, but not for very long. I went back to my safe spot by the stairs so I didn't have to be petted.

Mum took some photos of us but she had to use her mobile, as she hadn't brought the big flashy box.

Mum also gave us a treat this morning! She gave us some ground rabbit meat. I thought it was super tasty! I ate it all up, then asked for more! Pandora liked it too, and mum kept having to put pieces of it in her dish. Zowie didn't like it though, but mum thinks that she still doesn't think of raw meat as actual food. I hope she will like it because I think it is so delicious!

Lazy Caturday

It's very hot out again today so us kitties are having a nice lazy Caturday. Mum is going to go shopping for our foods, and maybe we'll get treats as well! We tried to let her sleep in a bit today but we were wanting our stinky goodness, so we woke her up at 8am.

Hurrah for Zowie!

Tonight Zowie actually tried some of the raw food! Mum is very pleased.

I of course love my raw food, though I never eat more than an ounce at a time. Pandora likes it too but she likes it better when mum crushes up the Orijen 6 Fish dry food and puts it on top. In fact, that's how Zowie decided to try the raw food, because she really likes that Orijen food too. Mum says she would like to have us all on the raw food eventually, but she's going to let us adjust slowly.

Mancat Monday: Some new photos

Mum took more photos of us this past weekend as it was finally nice and sunny out. It was also very hot (Saturday was 31C), and so us kitties spent a lot of time sleeping. Sometimes we slept in the sun, and sometimes we slept in the shade. We'd hoped mum would take us outside but she said it was too hot. Maybe we'll get to go have an Outside Adventure this week once it cools down a little!

As you can see, I'm enjoying sleeping on my cushion with my blanket. In the last photo I had slipped off the cushion and was between it and the back of the sofa. It was very snuggly.

Sister Sunday

Quiet Friday

Mum had the day off from work today, so we've all been loafing around, though she did go shopping for us kitties too.

We're eating the very yummy Wellness canned food, and mum has started to give us Nature's Variety chicken raw food twice a day in small portions. I love it a lot!! I eat it up really fast and yesterday I ate it so fast that I got it on my nose! Pandora likes it too, but she doesn't eat as much as me. Zowie doesn't like it at all, but maybe she just needs more time.

The best part today is that Pandora has started to feel better and she hasn't had any tummy upset since Wednesday. :)

Tasty Tuesday Treat!

Wow! Mum gave us this very delicious treat tonight. We didn't get a lot of it but it was sure great! (Mum: It's Nature's Variety chicken raw diet.) I ate mine all up and Pandora ate hers all up too. I don't think Zowie liked hers very much, but maybe she was already full from dinner.

Today's photo has my toes in it because it is also Toes Tuesday. Here I am stretching out my paw for mum's flashy box. And I am about to Rawr like a big panther. (Or maybe yawn, but I'd prefer to think I was going to have a fierce RAWR.)

Mancat Monday

Mum says thank you very much to everyone who posted about cat food. She has found it very helpful and it has given her some questions to ask the v-e-t on Wednesday. (She thinks that the v-e-t might not be very keen on trying the raw food diet, but she also thinks that the food we are all eating right now has too many icky fillers and stuff, even though it is the special vet cat food.)

Today was very rainy, and it has been pretty gloomy in here. Mum gave us a bit extra stinky goodness when she got home. Then she cleaned our boxes and Zowie went and checked them all out to make sure they really were clean. (Of course they were, but that's Zowie's Official Job.) :)

Today's picture is one mum took of me the other day - I had just woken up from a nap and she used the flashy box! (You can tell because I closed my eyes).

Cat Foods

Mum is wondering what all the other kitty mums and dads are feeding you, their kitties. She is wondering because she is taking Pandora to the v-e-t on Wednesday because Pandora's diarrhea and tummy issues have not cleared up. She wants to know if anyone has their kitties on a raw food diet, and if it helps kitties that have diarrhea. (She is going to talk to the v-e-t about it, but wants to know what other kitty mums and dads are doing.) What does your mum (or dad) feed you?

(and as a thank-you for your help, I convinced mum to put up a brand new photo of me! I think I look very mancatly and maybe even a bit fierce like a panther in it.)

Sister Sunday

Yesterday mum opened the door to the spare room (she calls it her 'storage/art/guest room') and let us kitties in while she was doing a bit of tidying. Zowie found the sunny spot, and I came in a few minutes later. Here we are just relaxing. Mum likes it that we don't mind hanging out so close to each other. I think that Zowie is my best friend.


Pandora didn't like the flashy box, but mum wanted to include a picture of her also since it is Sister Sunday. She wasn't really wanting to stay still for the flashy box, and I can't blame her! The flash is really bright!

Happy Caturday!

Mum didn't get home till late last night, so we tried to let her sleep in a bit.

This pic is of me sitting on mum's lap. I don't do it very often, and up until about a week or two ago, I didn't do it at all. I am pretty big and mum doesn't have a very big lap!

Mancat Monday

Mum and I are glad that we have encouraged lots of kitties to give honeysuckle a try! We'd like to hear about whether or not any other kitties really liked it. So when your mums and dads get you some, come tell us what you think of it! :)

Today was a very wet day outside. It rained almost all afternoon! That makes it very dim in the house, and us kitties spent most of the afternoon napping. We always wake up in time to greet mum at the door though. She usually gives us stinky goodness when she gets home, so we're always excited to see her. Plus we like getting scritches and cuddles. Pandora usually jumps from the floor into mum's arms and gives her kisses, while I rub my cheeks on her trousers. Zowie usually is more patient than us, and she waits for us to be done before she asks for her cuddles and scritches.

Sister Sunday: The Effect of Honeysuckle (Part 3)

For today's post, we're going to put up a video of Zowie with her honeysuckle piece. I think this video is funny because you can also see me in the background with the big piece of honeysuckle. This big piece has become one that all us kitties have to share. Mum has been letting us have it every evening, but putting it away before bedtime so we don't swat each other over it at night.

Mum bought a nice big new piece of honeysuckle from the Cat House today, and she filmed us cats with it. Well, me anyway. And Pandora. Zowie preferred to have a smaller piece. Today's video will be of me with the honeysuckle, and mum said she'll show videos of Pandora and Zowie on the weekend. In this video you can see just how much I LOVE honeysuckle!
